In reply to sjiveru’s post on October 19, Hi, To resolve your concern regarding keyboard layout, follow the steps below: Go to Control Panel.
Click on Clock, Language, and Region. Select Region. Click on the Location tab. Under Home location , select Japan so that it won’t add any English keyboard layout. Click Apply , and then OK. I could change it and then change it back, but that might well not solve the problem. Also, now it seems I have two duplicate entries in my switcher for the EN-US keyboard, one grouped with the other two English keyboards and one at the end. Thanks for your feedback. So while in my desktop this would work beautifully and switch from English UK keyboard layout to Greek GR keyboard layout and vice versa, on my laptop that has a US keyboard, this script would be responsible for the extra layouts appearing out of the blue on my language switcher.
