Подробнее на этой странице jamezy April 15, in Logic Pro. Basically my band want to use Logic at gigs and would like to know if logic pro x midi foot controller free is a particular foot controller that can be set up to initiate particular songs.

We have all of our backing tunes saved in one project at intervals of bars, so we would ideally like something to be able to start each song independantly using a seperate switch on a foot controller or possibly a small keyboard? Would anybody know if this is possible?

And if so, can you recommend some foot controllers that can do this? Any one know how to control the transport via a foot controller You can to do this with the key commands: “move selection to next markers” or “move markers to next section? I’m not in front of logic right now and any other key commands you need. Just set up those key commands to respond goot different midi notes assuming your foot controller spits out midi notes; or like you say, use a small logic pro x midi foot controller free.

As far as foot controllers that can play notes, I have a “Midi Step” made by Fast Forward Designs; they don’t make them anymore. But there was a few other companies; Roland made some, Fatar I think that’s what they were called and I think Korg had a unit.

Don’t know if they still make them. I’m sure there’s some smaller basic midi-transmitting footswitches out there too that have a few switches on them that can be programmed.

Now assuming that your using Markers. My band recently started using Logic. Get the OnStage application at www. Then, go into Logic pro x midi foot controller free ‘Key Commands’ section and find the action you want to control e.

Click on the ‘Learn New Command’ button for that action and press the button on the foot controller you assigned for that action. Hitting the button on mido foot controller should now initiate that action.

You’ll be usng the other button s within that bank to choose the songs. Go into OnStage. Assign each slot to a new Logic session. For example, let’s say you want your song called ‘We Love Logic’ to be in the first slot, just hit the ‘Set’ button next to the 1st slot and go find the Logic session for ‘We Love Logic.

This will open ‘We Love Logic’. There are videos on www. Also, the key to making everything work is cintroller you have everything connected before starting Logic and OnStage. Otherwise they won’t recognize the incoming MIDI. That shoudl get you started, but if you need more help, feel free to get a hold of me.

I spent a lot of time learning this the hard way and would love to help others use Logic live. We’ve been using ours for a number of gigs now without any problems. Another method I like is to bounce the backing track to the desktop and then Import all the backing tracks into the audio bin.

This method works great because you have a song list all ready to go with only one Logic file open, you aren’t limited to 20 songs at a time, no big load on the computer and you logicc advance to each or any song.

I will be talking to the other band members about Onstage and possibly the Roland pedal as good options! As for the file getting corrupted? We have since learned to back-up all our information on an external hard contropler If you got 2 or more macs at hand then i say the following based on my band’s current live setup. Basically мой latest version of itunes windows 10 download нужные Program changes to our 2 macbooks driving Mainstage.

This works excellent i must say. I’m personally very pleased with the whole automatic part of it setup. I used to use my old Mitigator midi controller board for the switching but it’s just way smother to get everything done for you this is of course not necessary, it works just as well to send OnStage a program change as well as to the mainstage programs for switching.

I have tried to use mainstage and logic next to each other logic pro x midi foot controller free the same computer but that lotic very successful, much better to split it up. It listens to ch 1. Send the program change number for the next song in the setlist. Now, since we’re doing backtracks anyways i just started sending changes also during the song We use the chain gang just so we can have fullscreen video on a external monitor.

On the negative side i got not much to ad. I have had my fair share of crashes and come to know sorta what makes it go over logic pro x midi foot controller free edge. But since it has only crashed once during concert which actually was my c compiler for free I bought Onstage lastnight and started seperating the songs from my one large project into individual projects.

When i installed onstage and went to input the serial number, it came up with an error message, so im logic pro x midi foot controller free with the trial version til i hear back from Fluqe i think i used zero’s instead of the letter “O” or vice versa. Anyway, when i started using Onstage, i tried to set project one, it opens a browser and when i look for the logic project, i can see it, but its faded and wont select.

Am i doing something wrong? Have i saved the logic file incorrectly in Logic perhaps? Also, in relation to the foot controller – I may have this issue resolved. I use a Vox Tonelab SE multi effects floor pedal and only realised it had a midi connection on it last night.

So i chanced my arm and it actually worked. I set it up in the key commands to play when i selected a particular patch, and it worked! I need to spend logic pro x midi foot controller free lot more time with it to /47165.txt it all out, but I think ive just eliminated needing another midi footswitch.

I frew like to thank all of you for the help so far, particularly Ringemaster. John, conrroller you for the information on the video – the singer in my band is obsessed with the idea for the last few months, so he will be happy to know that it can be done! No doubt ill have questions on that topic in a few weeks. Had the same problem with OnStage. I got it before they had updated to work with the new L8 sessions. Also it wouldn’t register properly. I contacted them and controlled said there was an update in the works.

The register problem fres due to the, by the time, fresh When I just looked at the fluqe-site there is an update to download from the main page.

My external hard drive is unfortunately not with me until i’m back in stockholm a few daysso at the mo i can’t send you logic pro x midi foot controller free they gave me. It won’t work with the old version. Also regarding the foot controller vs. I’m already using the Axess Electronics FX-1 подробнее на этой странице all of my guitar switching which allows me to put all of mjdi pathces into ‘song’ format logic pro x midi foot controller free, so all I had to do was add a program change for each song I choose and can define sets from within my FX Whatever works for you is obviously going to be best, but I prefer the external switching method personally.
